our story
Gear for Greatness Inc. was established in 2023. Our founder Franceska Colocado’s father struggled financially when he was a student athlete which hindered him from being able to purchase gear that he needed to play basketball at his optimum. In return, her father worked hard to provide her with everything she needed to play at her full potential in volleyball. Our founder saw that this was a continuing issue through out the athletic community. The goal for ‘gear for greatness’ is to bridge that gap and propose a solution that wasn’t accessible to her father. Gear for Greatness is dedicated to help ensure that every athlete in need has the proper gear and support they need to perform at their full potential.

Franceska colocado is 17 year old, student and community leader, volleyball coach, entreprenuer, philantropist, podcast host, public speaker, advocate, and creative stratigest. she is passionate about helping others through her work. she hopes to inspire the individuals to become the best authentic version of themselves and to catalyze change through their passions. with her diverse knowledge in many fields, franceska provides a widerange of services for your needs. she is driven with her dedicaiton to make the world a better plAce through community and collaboration. her work lies on the foundations of quality, authenticy, ambition. she is dedicated to make the most of each moment we are given to make a postive change in society.
Our Committee is a dynamic and dedicated team composed of 5 young leaders to take on leadership roles and responsibilities in planning, marketing, financing, records, diversity and inclusion, and community engagement. Our mission is to provide a platform for youth to develop essential skills, gain valuable experience, and make meaningful contributions to their communities while supporting our mission.
